The Town of Midland and County of Simcoe invite you to attend a community safety symposium that we have branded “Hope, Housing and Health”. The event takes place on Thursday October 19th 2023 at the North Simcoe Sports and Recreation Centre, 527 Len Self Blvd, in the upstairs hall.

Service Providers – Afternoon Session (1-4pm)

The afternoon session runs from 1pm – 4pm and is open to local service providers (health, addiction, homelessness, supportive housing, mental health, outreach, poverty etc) and will feature collaborative sessions on information sharing, tools, resources and best practices. Registration is required for this afternoon session and will include space for a table / display that can showcase your organization to the public who will attend for the evening session. Public Q&A – Evening Panel Session (6-8:30pm)

This session is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC and will feature time to explore the service providers and their display, and will feature a panel of guest speakers, including the OPP and town-hall style Q&A sessions relating to homelessness, poverty, addiction, mental health and new initiatives by the Town of Midland and the County of Simcoe to help address the chronic and acute issues impacting Midland and the North Simcoe communities.
