HMCS York / NCSM York intends to conduct a combined small boat and dive exercise in Town of Midland from September 14th to 17th, 2023. Training will focus on developing domestic operations skillsets to support future disaster relief operations. To this end, HMCS YORK must be prepared to render assistance outside its local area of operations. Severn Sound and southeastern Georgian Bay have been identified as suitable locations to execute simulated flood relief taskings and ad hoc emergency scenarios.
