Do our non indigenous get left out in the cold another winter ?
These are purpose-built affordable rentals funded by the MNO, for their citizens. They bought the land (former St. Theresa’s) on the open market. This is good business sense and sees housing delivered by a group for their members. Not sure where you are going with the comment?
It seems interesting that you say the rentals are being funded by the MNO for their citizens when the funding actually comes from the federal government.
You are correct, some of the funding comes from the Federal government. These partnerships are exactly what is needed to get affordable housing built in Canada.
