Wednesday, February 28th is Pink Shirt Day. It has been recognized annually worldwide as a day to stand against bullying after initially beginning in 2007 when a student in Nova Scotia was bullied for wearing a pink shirt to school.

Be kind to each other. Stand up for each other against bullying. Kids, if you are being bullied, tell an adult. It is not OK and it is NOT your fault.

There is no place in Midland for harassment, bullying, racism, bigotry and intolerance. We aspire to remain a friendly, inclusive and welcoming community and our policies and actions should always align to those goals.
